Roles & Responsibilities :

The roles & responsibilities of the internship are given below –

1. Playtest multiple mobile hypercasual games across different devices and OS versions (iOS & Android).
2. Identify and document technical glitches, including crashes, freezes, frame drops, audio issues, UI lags, and performance bottlenecks.
3. Report non-technical issues like confusing gameplay mechanics, lack of clarity in user flows, poor feedback cues, and inconsistencies.
4. Provide detailed feedback on game balancing.
5. Evaluate first-time user experience (FTUE).
6. Analyze engagement loops and difficulty progression.
7. Re-test fixed issues to verify resolutions through regression testing.
8. Maintain bug logs and collaborate closely with developers and product managers.
9. Simulate edge-case scenarios to test robustness and user behavior.
10. Suggest improvements to enhance overall game quality, retention, and satisfaction.

Other Requirements :

The below given additional requirements are needed for the internship.

• Strong passion for mobile gaming, especially hypercasual games.
• Detail-oriented with excellent observational and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with different mobile devices, OS environments, and app ecosystems.
• Good communication and documentation skills (experience with tools like Trello, JIRA, Notion is a plus).
• Ability to think like an end user and anticipate real-world usage problems.
• Basic knowledge of gameplay loops, game economy, and UI/UX is a plus.
• Prior testing experience or QA course certifications are an added advantage.
