About Scrap Uncle :
ScrapUncle (formerly Swapeco) is an App/Website where users can schedule a doorstep pickup for their junk items like paper, metals, plastics, electronic waste, etc., and get paid for the same. We were featured and funded on Shark Tank India Season 2. We have completed 50,000 pickups in Delhi NCR and sent around 2.5 million kgs of junk and recyclables to recycling units. We are also the winners of the Urban Works Challenge hosted by Columbia University.

- • Working Hours – 10 AM – 7 PM, 6 days a week with Tuesday as the weekly off
- • Monthly Stipend – Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 15,000

Roles & Responsibilities :
The daily roles & responsibilities of selected interns include –
- ‣ Pickup Confirmation: Conduct outbound calls to confirm customer availability, answer queries, and ensure smooth scheduling.
- ‣ Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer care via phone and WhatsApp, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- ‣ Pickup Coordination: Efficiently allocate pickups to drivers, optimizing routes to ensure timely and effective collections.
- ‣ Issue Resolution: Serve as the main point of contact between customers and the pickup team, effectively managing complaints and resolving issues to ensure a positive customer experience.
